Sayalonga is a picturesque white village in Andalusia and only a short drive away from the beautiful beaches of Nerja and Torre del Mar. The village itself offers everything, such as restaurants, bars, supermarkets and even a museum.
Andalusia is the most southern province of the Spanish mainland. The province borders on the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea which are connected to each other by the Strait of Gibraltar. The strategic location has brought many conquerors to this region of Spain in the past. The remnants of the Moors are still visible in the street scene. The Alhambra in Granada is a fine example of Moorish relics. Around Granada is the Sierra Nevada, a beautiful mountain range, where you can ski in wintertime.
